⁵⁷So Ptol′emy set out from Egypt, he and Cleopatra his daughter, and came to Ptolema′is in the one hundred and sixty-second year.^[a] ⁵⁸Alexander the king met him, and Ptol′emy^[b] gave him Cleopatra his daughter in marriage, and celebrated her wedding at Ptolema′is with great pomp, as kings do.

⁵⁹Then Alexander the king wrote to Jonathan to come to meet him.
